
Barry Rothstein, a native of New York City, has made St. Petersburg his home for the past 20 years. He has studied Drawing, Art, Illustration and Design at City University of New York, The Parsons School of Art and Design, School of Visual Arts, and The Fashion Institute of Technology (all in New York City), and locally, at the Arts Center of St. Petersburg.
A contributing artist to several magazines, Rothstein’s works have been widely exhibited at numerous galleries and art shows in New York, Atlanta and Florida. His most notable exhibitions include Sotheby’s Auction Galleries, Washington Square Art Exhibit (at which he won an award for his Pen & Ink/Etching work), Fresh Meadows Art Show, Atlantic City Boardwalk Art Exhibition, and the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta. Locally, his works have been exhibited at Artrageous Gallery, Adrian Howard Gallery, Paradise Gallery, Fiorini Gallery, TW Curtis Gallery, Pinellas County Fair Art Show (where he received two awards), The Arts Center, and the Tampa Pride Art Exhibit (where he was awarded two ribbons.) His work was selected as one of 20 local artists for the 2007 Westshore Expose Art Project. He is currently represented and on display at the Finn Gallery. Rothstein was featured in Tampa Bay Magazine July/August issue 2006.

The immediate past President of the St. Petersburg Downtown Business Association, Barry is an Account Executive with the Tampa Bay Business Journal.
